Home Up Smut Pups

Mr. Smut HTD I, HS, HRD III

Smut: Born 11-2-1999 Very powerful devoted dog. He's my "Go to" man. If you need a job done, he's the one. Smut is a very confident dog.  He has much patience and discipline. Smut has several litters of pups on the ground. His offspring have shown great stock reading ability and have lots of presence about them. They are very biddable dogs, who want to please. These dogs also receive training easily.

Smut has Kenneth Arrendale's McTavish (Mac), Tommy Wilson's Imp Roy in his.  Smut works cattle, sheep, goats, and ducks.  The tougher the job, the better he likes it.  But when he needs to be less pushy, is willing to back off the pressure.  Due to a leg injury, Smut's trialing days were cut short.  But work on the farm never ends!

Smut is available for approved bitches.

A2M Cord

Cord 7 months

Cord:  Born 2-16-2006 Another of Nyle's Ben pups.  Cord already shows lots of confidence and full control of his livestock.

Shown here at 7 months.

In typical Sealine dog's style, he is a pleasure to watch working his stock. Cord works both sheep and cattle. His formal training is coming along nicely.  We will begin our trial career this year.

The other lines.....

Nyle Sealine and his dog Ben.

Nyle & Ben

Nyle Sealine and Ben won the Ozark Imperial Dog Trial and the Iowa State Fair Dog trial.

Tragically Ben lost a leg while working cattle shortly after that ending his trial career.

He continues to help Nyle on the farm.

As you look through our lines, you will see that many times I will outcross and breed to Nyle's line of border collies.  He has trained and trialed successfully for many years, he has a gift from God when it comes to working dogs. He has bred border collies for well over 50 years, focusing on the dog's ability to read, and control their livestock along with a powerful work ethic.  They also have wonderful dispositions as well as being 'pleasers'.  I am proud to continue his work in my breeding program.

Elvin Kopp and his dog Cody

Elvin is a top competitor in a wide variety of both sheep and cattle competitions, earning an impressive list of accomplishments that include 2007 USBCHA National Nursery Champion and 2007 USBCHA Open Top-Five Double-Lift Finalist (with the same dog).  2007 Open Reserve Rodear Champion, 2006 Cross Country Cattledog Champion, Canadian Cattledog Handler of the Year, Sheepdog Handler of the Year, Cattledog of the Year, Sheepdog of the Year and Super Dog of the Year.
